Performance

The mind under pressure
Seven small tools for the state where the work comes easy. Each one builds a condition and raises the odds. None of them promises the state, because nothing can: everything works, and nothing summons.

The seven tools

Grouped by the book's appendix, Volume Four: Performance: what a practice costs against what the record supports. The third number is the gap between the claim and the record. The scores rate the claim, not the practice, and nothing is ranked inside a band.
The honest limit, stated first. These tools carry the practices with the best evidence in this territory: fixed routines, instructional cues, deliberate practice, and finding your own arousal zone instead of the textbook curve. The effects in the research are real and moderate. Nothing here makes the state arrive on demand, and anything that claims to is selling the door handle on a door that opens from the other side. The territory's other practices need no app, and that is a finding, not a gap: what the record supports for them is restraint, a run, and keeping your money, none of which improves with software.
